9:15 AM - Sunday School/Bible Class
10:30 AM - Divine Service
During Advent and Lent, Wednesday evening services are offered at 7:00 PM with a dinner at 6:00 PM before the service.
As Lutheran Christians, God calls us together around His Word and Sacraments and gives us the gifts He promises to give—namely, forgiveness of sins, new life in Christ, and salvation—as we hear the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We refer to what happens in worship on Sunday as Divine Service, because God comes to us through the Means of Grace to give us His gifts: God (Divine) + giving us gifts (Service).
There is a dedicated hour of Sunday School for all ages (beginning at age 2).
Adult Sunday school is offered every Sunday morning, led by the Pastor. The topics vary, including Christian living issues, books of the Old and New Testament and the life of Luther.
We receive the Word of God individually from our pastor to comfort us when we are troubled by our sins, to strengthen us when we struggle in this life, and to give us counsel and guidance from God’s Word. Our pastor cares for each of our members, not only through the public preaching and teaching of the Word of God, but also by bringing that Word into our homes, when we hospitalized or homebound, or when our conscience is burdened by sorrow, grief, or shame.
